12 Months, Parts & Labor on Refrigerated Display Cases. Thermell Mfg. warrants the original purchaser-user that it’s refrigeration equipment, at the time of delivery, will be free from defects in material & workmanship.
Call the (817) 472-8990, which is located on a sticker along with the serial number. Ask for the repair department and have the serial number. A series of trouble shooting questions will be asked to determine the cause of the problem. If it is determined that the unit has a mechanical failure, a replacement will be sent in the first 30 days. After 30 days, the unit will be picked up, repaired, & returned. If no problem is found, a service ($100) charge & freight charges will be billed back to the purchaser. Physical abuse like dents & scratches is not mechanical failure. Damaged power cords & tripped breakers are not mechanical failure.
This does not include freight damage on initial shipment and abuse. There are signs on the unit: “REFUSE IF DAMAGED”. The freight company then will bring it back to Thermell Mfg. at their expense. Call Thermell Mfg. and request a replacement after the unit in question is REFUSED! Signing for freight damaged goods let’s the freight company off the hook for damaging the Display Case. REFUSE IT!
In no event will Thermell Mfg. be liable for the loss of use, revenue, or profit or for any other indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages including, but not limited to, food spoilage or product loss. After the twelve month warranty period has expired: Thermell Mfg. will still repair the units. The client is responsible for freight charges and the labor & materials used.
